“If the property lends itself to this look, then it can be achieved with great elegance.
But luxury cannot be forced, it must look like it belongs.”

The Lux Look

Relax
I love the clean sharp lines, softened by the simple but shapely foliage.
The tree in the background adds depth and further softening of the geometry.
Even without any flowers this garden makes a real impact, hence we have added it to our lux range.
With or without the pool in the foreground, this would make a lovely modern garden in the right setting.
In a smaller space, elements of this can be taken to create a similar effect.

Swim
Despite the UK climate generally, more and more people are installing pools.
Whilst it's definitely still a luxury with high running costs, for those with space and an eye on warmer summers, swimming pool installers are busier than ever.
A beautiful pool surrounded by gorgeous plants, creates a stylish and elegant addition to the larger garden or entertainment space.
For those of us with less space than in the photo, we can still take style elements and incorporate them into a smaller setting to be enjoyed by all the family.
A pool doesn't have to be big. But it does have to kept clean, clear of debris, covered when not in use and correctly managed in order to get decades of longevity and safe enjoyment from it.

View
Sometimes a garden needs a 'WOW' feature to make a particular section come alive.
Or something which captures the viewer's attention and makes them stop in their tracks or want to explore it further. These are also called focal points.
The garden doesn't have to be big to do this and the feature does not have to be grand. It can be a small water feature, a specimen tree or plant, a statue, topiary, a large container, a sculpture or other garden art.
A focal point can be created in a niche, on a terrace, in the middle of the garden or hidden as a surprise around the corner. It may be visible from the house, it may not. But when it is seen it will make a statement.
Garden designers will use one or more focal points when putting your concepts together.
Luxury is high maintenance
If you want it to stay luxury
